The flamenco developed as a unique blend of Castilian and Moorish guitars. Lighter than classical guitars, with a narrower body and strings lower to the frets, they are made with tone woods that give them distinctive voices. Their characteristic sound is often described as ‘dry’, ‘metallic’, and ‘raspy’ with a livelier and brighter percussive quality that makes the voice of these noble instruments penetrate.
At Bros, all of our guitars are handmade with traditional Spanish guitar-making techniques using carefully selected woods. We build our models with the option of a cutaway and also accept commissions for totally individually designed guitars.
