Descripción
The Aranjuez model uniquely offers a guitar with back and sides constructed from pau ferro, a hardwood from South America. Pau ferro is often compared with rosewood, but it is harder with a lighter colour and a tighter grain forming individual patterns that make each guitar truly individual. Pau ferro produces sharp and brighter tones across the spectrum with a pronounced high end, while retaining the warmth and richness that rosewood is known for, especially in the bases. When paired with your choice of our special, premium grade-1a German spruce or Canadian cedar, the results are intriguing and produce a powerful instrument with tonal nuances that can impress a concert hall.
The three-piece back design of the Aranjuez is exquisite, with a Honduran cedar neck that has an inlay from 50-years minimum naturally dried ebony stored by the grandfather of the brothers who now preserve the family business. The bindings of rosewood have contrasting profiling, and an ornately carved headstock with top-quality tuning keys completes the elegant design. The Aranjuez is an understated beauty with a highly accomplished voice that will satisfy players of the highest level. You can select a gloss of matt lacquer finish, with a cutaway option available.
