The Canastera is a pure blood flamenco guitar in every regard. From the top-grade solid German spruce or solid Canadian cedar for the top soundboard, to the solid cypress or Indian rosewood used for the back and sides. This choice of woods gives guitarists the two options of a wonderfully sharp and percussive ‘blanca’ made from light woods, or a deep-throated, rumbling ‘negra’ complemented by dark wood, to suite any flamenco mood and style.

Designed for accomplished players to professionals, but also the perfect companion for aspiring musicians serious about instrument choice, the tones of the Canastera are pure and resonant. The low string action allows smooth and dexterous playing and quick transitions from open positions to bar chords. Built with the trademark Bros attention to detail, the Canastera is finished with a beautiful rose-encrusted rosette and ebony neck inlay, complete with rosewood bindings.

As a flamenco pureblood, the guitar is available in the iconic flamenco colours: the beautiful grain of lacquered natural wood, or with orange and yellow tints. We can also build the Canastera as a cutaway.
