Descripción
The B70 guitar elevates our classical guitar range to first-grade woods that have been aged and cured in our drying rooms for many years, and in the case of some models, for decades. When we refer to grade-1a woods, this denotes more than the maturity; it means we have selected solid woods with tight grains that have been ’sound tested’ for tone and resonance.
The B70 uses exclusively grade 1a woods: a choice of German spruce for bright highs or cedar for more rounded and warmer tones for the top, with Indian Rosewood for the back and sides to produce deep and fulsome bases. Overall, these combinations result in a concert-level voice with and amazingly accomplished projection and range, fit for any classical performance or artistic exploration.
The B70 is not ostentatious in appearance; rather, it’s simply elegant with self-confidence that comes from knowing it’s made from first-class materials: apart from the grade-1a tone woods, there is an ornately carved headstock with high-quality tuning keys, a lovely hand-laid rosette, a Honduran cedar neck with an ebony inlay, and rosewood bindings. Available with a gloss or matt lacquer finish, the B70 offers guitarists an intimate relationship with an instrument that grows over time. A cutaway version can also be built.
