This spectacular-looking classical guitar sounds as sophisticated and complex as its appearance. The model shown is a fusion of a chocolate cedar top and Black Limba back and sides, but we can also manufacture the B80 for you with a first-quality German spruce top.

Cedar ranges in colour from red through brown and this hard-to-come-by chocolate grained cedar is chosen by guitarists who value character and warmth over bright clarity and volume, and who seek more sustain. Here it is paired with beautifully grained West African Black Limba, which provides supporting tones between Indian Rosewood and mahogany, but with a sweeter mid-range and great clarity. This makes the B80 resonant with a voluminous, but never shouting voice. This wonderful fusion of dark woods allows the classical player to extract the most beautiful subtleties from any musical arrangement.

Choosing the B80 with a top-quality German spruce top will increase the ‘attack’ and brightness, also offering intriguing possibilities for musicians seeking uniquely nuanced blends of dark and light tone woods.
